QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION :
Education :
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associates Degree in Information Systems or related area preferred.
Qualifications :
A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred.Experience in a healthcare environment highly preferred.Must possess good working knowledge of basic networking, database, and MS Windows. Previous experience working with an EMR is a plus.Demonstrated troubleshooting and maintenance skills with hardware and software.Must have the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a stressful environment.Must be capable of working efficiently as a member of the IT team as well as independently.Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills are required.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Provides customer service and technical assistance to all users (physicians and medical office personnel).Responsible for training and resolving escalated tickets for Helpdesk Representatives.Adds and configure users for multiple systems including AD and EMR systems.Maintains and sets up new software on servers.Provides advanced troubleshooting support with a variety of IT hardware, such as copiers, fax machines, printers, scanners, cell phones, pagers, etc.Provides support for the Mitel Phone System, as well as the wireless ASCOM and iPhones for Clinical staff.Creates and configures software packages for distribution.Creates and maintains network printers through Group Policy.Must be willing to work additional hours with little or no notice in the event of a disaster. Evening, Weekends, and sometimes Holidays are necessary.Responsible to cover on-call rotation schedule for evenings and weekends.May train newly hired staff and physicians as needed.Takes on the most difficult of tasks and may take on extra responsibilities, such as special projects, research, etc. at the direction of the Director and Supervisor.Works on Clinical Applications as needed.Other duties as assigned.Equal Opportunity Employer
