Salary Range - $24.50 - $26.50ph
Part-Time Position - 20 hours / week

The Perinatal Mood Disorder Specialist provides comprehensive support services to birthing individuals who may be at higher risk for developing anxiety and depression during pregnancy and postpartum. This individual works collaboratively with healthcare providers, hospitals and community agencies, facilitates group support, and provides community outreach education throughout the Southern New Jersey region.
Essential Functions :
Contribute to The Cooperative’s commitment to equity and continuous quality improvement that align with the agency’s mission, goals, and advancement
Requirements
Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling or other Health-related field required. Licensed or license eligible.
Expert assessment skills
One years’ experience in the triage and referral process
One years’ experience working with childbearing families in a perinatal or outreach setting
One years’ experience in group support facilitation
Must present in a professional manner and be able to engage with a wide range of clients and professional associates
Ability to work independently and as a team member with good leadership, oral and written communication skills
Valid driver’s license, current insurance policy and car
Physical Requirements :
Must be able to see to read documents and hear well enough to communicate with others
Must be able to write, type on a computer, and use a telephone
Must be able to operate a motor vehicle
Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds

Work Environment :
Travels regularly to sites where traffic, weather, and other environmental conditions may be encountered; otherwise works in a climate-controlled professional office environment generally free from hazards and other adverse working conditions
