In this role, you will engage in patient-centered care, ensuring that each patient receives the attention and specialized support they need during their recovery process.\n\nThis position involves : \n
- Assessment : Collecting relevant data to understand the patient's health situation.\n
- Diagnosis : Analyzing assessment data to identify actual and potential health issues.\n
- Outcomes Identification : Establishing expected outcomes tailored to each patient.\n
- Planning : Developing and adjusting care plans to achieve desired outcomes.\n
- Implementation : Carrying out the care plan with attention to detail and patient safety.\n
- Coordination of Care : Managing transitions and continuity in patient care.\n
- Health Teaching and Promotion : Educating patients and families about health and safety.\n

- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.\n
- Current BCLS certification or acquisition within one month of hire.\n
- Licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Connecticut.\n
- 3-5 years of experience in Emergency Room (ER) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU) preferred.\n
- Clinical specialty certification is highly encouraged.\n\nThe role can be physically demanding; it includes prolonged standing, walking, and the ability to assist in lifting patients weighing from five (5) to three hundred (300) pounds.
