Thompson Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Project Scheduler / Cost Estimator to join our team. This role is responsible for developing, analyzing, reviewing, and approving project schedules and / or design-level cost estimates for large-scale, multi-discipline projects, including industrial design, design-build, construction, and transportation (DOT) projects. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with owner specifications and contract requirements, while providing strategic oversight, risk analysis, and cost estimating to support informed decision-making and successful project delivery.

Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
5+ years of experience in scheduling for large-scale construction projects.
3+ years of Cost Estimating experience (vertical and horizontal construction).
Proficiency in Primavera P6 for scheduling and reporting.
Expertise in CPM scheduling, TIA, schedule risk analysis, and mitigation planning.
Experience with RSMeans or equivalent estimating software.
Strong background supporting multimillion-dollar construction projects.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent written / verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Attributes
Professional certifications (PSP, PMP, CCM, or equivalent).
Experience in both contractor and owner-representative roles.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with vertical and transportation construction scheduling and estimating.
