The Lead Project Manager will be responsible to lead cross-functional teams in the planning and execution of all Government telecom projects. The Lead Project Manager must successfully implement and support projects, such as proposal support, project scheduling, operational support systems, ordering, inventory, transition / implementation performance reporting, budgeting / forecasting, training, customer care, operations, program management plans, change management plans, resource plans, quality assurance plans and risk management plans.
A Level 2 Public Trust background investigation will be administered if selected for the role. The selected candidate must be willing to participate in that investigation.
This will be a Work from Home position. You will work with customers mainly in the East Coast time zone. Candidates must be willing to work an Eastern Standard Time schedule.
The main responsibilities include : direct liaison between the customer and Lumen Government Services, reviewing, developing requirements, and working with appropriate teams to answer proposal requirements, managing program management reviews, assisting with the integration of services and billing, managing complex data services installations, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of all contract deliverables, initiating change management reviews and contract modifications, and identifying requirements for product and IT development.
What we look for in a candidate includes : basic qualifications such as 5-7 years of Federal Telecommunications Program Management and customer liaison experience, working knowledge of Microsoft Project and associated Microsoft Office suit, and ability to prepare customer and high-level management PowerPoint presentations. Preferred qualifications include Project Management Professional / Project Management Institute (PMP / PMI) certification, solid understanding of telecommunications installation and transition activities, and experience in the transition, implementation, management and execution of large-scale Federal Government Contracts.
Compensation : This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors. Location Based Pay Ranges : $82,969 - $110,625 in these states : AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY. $87,117 - $116,156 in these states : CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI. $91,266 - $121,688 in these states : AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
