What you will do in this role:

• Provides general nursing care to assigned patients.
• Acts as a liaison between hospital staff, physician, patient, and family members.
• Administers medication in a safe, knowledgeable and accurate manner. Follows laws, regulations, and providers policy as it relates to controlled substances.
• Assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for assigned patients.
• Carries out physician orders in a safe and appropriate manner.
• Identifies the cognitive functioning, the mental status and the physiological condition and needs of the patient.
• Plans and coordinates patient/family teaching and assesses understanding of the information provided.
• This position is 100% Outpatient.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure.
• LVN licensure with RN supervisor.
• Restrictive Interventions.
• Registered to Practice in Texas.
• Photo ID.
• Abuse Registry Check.
• Criminal background check.
• Federal Fingerprint and Background Check.

Additional Training Required Once Hired:

• ANE Training.
• Critical Incident Reporting.
• PCRP Online.
• Co-occurring Psychiatric and Substance Use Disorder. (COPSD)
• Opioid Overdose Prevention Training.
