A sheet metal fabrication company is seeking to hire a Design Engineer with strong knowledge of 3-dimensional modeling software and 2-dimensional part development from models.

Key Qualifications & Responsibilities :

Hands-on experience with CAM software and programming CNC machine tools, including cutting, punching, and folding.

Knowledge of fabrication processes such as welding (TIG / MIG) and spot welding.

Familiarity with finishing processes, including powder coating, zinc plating, electro-polishing, and anodizing.

Ability to develop bills of materials (BOMs) and job routers for projects involving proprietary and commercial materials / components.

Understanding of MRP systems.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and shop floor personnel.

Bachelor's degree preferred and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience required.
