Job Summary :

The Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative III – Floater (PSR III) is the primary face of the organization , responsible for delivering exceptional specimen collection services across multiple sites. The PSR III provides skilled phlebotomy support in both clinical and forensic settings, ensuring accuracy, patient trust, and adherence to all safety and confidentiality standards. This position requires flexibility, professionalism, and the ability to work independently while supporting several patient service centers within the region.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform high-quality forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing in compliance with established procedures.

Provide phlebotomy support across multiple assigned locations in Northern Kentucky, Cincinnati, and Dayton , based on business needs.

Maintain a safe, professional, and compliant environment at all times.

Verify patient demographics and ensure correct labeling and documentation of all samples.

Execute tasks efficiently with minimal supervision while delivering error-free, high-volume work .

Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills when interacting with patients, clients, and colleagues.

Adhere to company policies, including dress code, safety, and compliance standards.

Manage flexible scheduling, including rotating Saturdays, holidays, and on-call assignments .

Travel between patient service centers and in-office phlebotomy locations as needed.

Required Experience :

Three years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.

Minimum of two years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.

Customer service background in healthcare, retail, or service environment highly preferred.

Proficiency in keyboard / data entry systems and maintaining accurate digital records.

Must have reliable transportation , valid driver’s license, and clean driving record.

Nice-to-Have Experience :

Prior experience floating between multiple clinical sites or labs.

Training in Epic or Quanum systems.

Exposure to multi-state lab operations or mobile collection programs.

Shift / Hours :

Day / Eastern Time Zone

Possible hours between 6 : 00 AM – 8 : 00 PM

Rotating Saturdays required
