Project Manager (Philadelphia)

e&e is seeking a Project Manager for a remote contract opportunity in Philadelphia, PA!

The Project Manager is responsible for leading complex IT initiatives with a strong focus on infrastructure, new facility build-outs, and EPIC-related projects. This role oversees the full project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with established project management methodologies, standards, and organizational objectives. The Project Manager will guide cross-functional teams, manage project risks and timelines, support operational readiness, and contribute to continuous improvement within the PMO. This senior-level position manages large, multifaceted projects and acts as a mentor to junior project managers while serving as a trusted partner to stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities :

• Lead, coordinate, and manage advanced IT projects, including enterprise infrastructure initiatives, facility expansions, and EPIC system implementations or upgrades.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, risks, and communication strategies.
• Facilitate effective communication across project teams, stakeholders, leadership, and operational partners.
• Ensure adherence to established project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Manage cross-functional project teams of 815 members, providing direction, removing obstacles, and ensuring timely deliverables.
• Conduct project risk assessments and implement mitigation plans to ensure successful outcomes.
• Prepare and deliver detailed project documentation, status reports, executive summaries, and readiness assessments.
• Mentor and support new or junior project managers, assisting in the development of PMO standards and practices.
• Act as a PMO champion by promoting consistency, quality, and continuous improvement in project management processes.
• Support leadership initiatives and contribute to organizational project management maturity.
