Main Purpose of Job
This position will interpret and process program specific information, policies, regulations and guidelines in a variety of activities. This position also functions as a Medical Care Program Associate Worker for the Maryland Children's Health Program (MCHP) and Medical Assistance (MA) for families.\n
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education : Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate. \nExperience : One year of clerical experience applying policies in a medical care, health insurance or federal or State entitlement program. \nNotes : \n1. Candidates may substitute additional general clerical experienceon a year-for-year basis for the required education. \n2. Candidates may substitute thirty credit hours from an accredited college or universityfor the required experience. \n
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
The preferred candidate should possess : \n\n\n Customer service skills and ability to provide services in various locations as needed.\n Experience / Training in applying policies with health insurance.\n Data entry, reporting, public information, and working independently.\n\n\n
