Job Summary

The Assistant Manager reports directly to the Ski Area Building Maintenance Senior Manager. This position will take a lead role in coordinating and overseeing the execution of contracted services with vendors for capital and operational projects. Working with internal stakeholders to build best practices and safety protocols for this location and others. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of professionalism, productivity and efficiency with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. This is a highly trustworthy position with the expectation to maintain confidentiality with respect to files, records, and conversations.

Job Specifications

Starting Wage : $52,000.00 - $72,276.13

Employment Type : Year Round

Shift Type : Full Time hours available

Minimum Age : At least 18 years of age

Job Responsibilities

Coordinate and schedule planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance in conjunction with department managers

Coordinate with Maintenance COE as best practices are built and evolve

Plan and facilitate recurring contracted services. Complete required inspections and certificates on time

Coordinate contractor and stakeholder schedules, appointments and bookings as necessary

Manage, update, and monitor service agreements and the contractor list for the department

Compile and update maintenance procedures & schedules for facilities & equipment

Update equipment records and building documentation including safety regulations

Assist in the development and scheduling of department specific safety training and tool and equipment inspections

Develop and administer training programs for the department

Administer the work order / CMMS system

Assist with purchasing and receiving for the department in accordance with policies

Allocate available resources to enable successful task performance

Establish and monitor procedures for record keeping, ensure security, integrity and confidentiality of data

Maintain a safe and secure working environment and abide by all safety rules and regulations

Perform on-site inspections of contracted work

Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Ability to communicate (spoken and written) effectively and clearly to customers and all levels of staff

Excellent computer skills for programs including Microsoft Office suite, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (MaintainX), Coupa, Concur, and other programs as needed

Must be located in the greater Park City area with reliable transportation to the resort no matter the weather conditions

Must be able to work a flexible schedule with weekend, and holiday requirements

Must be able to work individually / unsupervised as well as part of team

Knowledge of building construction and building systems is desirable (Water, sewer, fire alarm, sprinkler, access control, etc.)

Must be well organized, document work and operate within budget constraints

Must be comfortable working outside in extreme weather conditions

Job requires standing for long periods of time, frequent walking, reaching, climbing and good balance, kneeling, crouching, and crawling

Must be able to work at heights, utility spaces, remote locations, and use resort transportation (chairlifts, ATV / UTV)

Must have a drivers license with a clean motor vehicle record

Maintain a professional appearance and deliver exceptional guest service

Must possess willingness to assist with the overall needs of the department and resort

The expected pay range is $52,000.00 - $72,276.13. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
