The Structural Steel Estimator will be responsible for analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for structural steel projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Blueprint Analysis : Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project requirements to determine the scope of work.
• Cost Estimation : Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment needed for structural steel projects.
• Proposal Development : Create and present comprehensive project proposals, including cost breakdowns and timelines.
• Vendor Relations : Communicate with suppliers to obtain pricing for materials and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Bid Preparation : Compile and submit competitive bids, ensuring all necessary documentation is included.
• Project Coordination : Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure estimates align with project goals and budgets.
• Risk Assessment : Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Market Analysis : Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and competitive pricing to ensure accurate and competitive estimates.
• Client Communication : Maintain clear and professional communication with clients throughout the estimation process.
