About The Position

Specialty accepted : Family Practice Physician, Internal Medicine Physician

Start date or shifts : ASAP ongoing, minimum two month contract (120 days)

Daily schedule : Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM

Practice setting : Outpatient clinic

Types of procedures : Comprehensive medical care including preventive health, wellness, chronic disease management, diagnostic evaluations, laboratory and imaging orders and interpretation, minor injury treatment, and evidence based medical treatments and procedures

Number of patients : Sixteen to twenty four per day including new, established, follow up, and walk in patients

Ages : Adults

Requirements : Current Texas license with no sanctions, board eligible in family medicine or internal medicine, DEA, NPI, CPR / BLS, ECFMG if applicable, compliance with immunization requirements, required drug test and fingerprinting, completion of facility required training

Additional information : Supervised by Medical Director or Chief of Medical Services, documentation required in EMR including e prescriptions, participation in quality improvement processes, compliance with Joint Commission standards, may support disaster response operations if needed, Spanish speaking bilingual physician preferred, credentialing and privileging required through site.
