We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

Responsibilities :

Assist dentists with patient care procedures

Prepare patients for dental procedures

Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments and equipment

Take and develop dental X-rays

Maintain dental records and inventory

Provide patient education and answer questions

Qualifications :

Required Certifications :

Certified Dental Assistant (CDA)

X-Ray License

CPR Certification

Experience : Previous dental assistant experience preferred

Skills : Strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements : Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy equipment, and perform repetitive tasks

Additional Requirements :

Background Check and Drug Screen : Candidates must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.

Cross-Coverage : Ability to work at multiple correctional facilities within a region.
