Welder - 2nd Shift

About the Opportunity :

• Job Title : Welder
• Pay Rate Range : $23.00-$25.00 / Hour
• Location : Ramsey, MN
• Schedule : 2nd Shift, Monday-Thursday 3 : 30PM-2AM
• Position Type : Temp to Hire

Requirements and Qualifications :

1. High school diploma or GED.

2. Pass the Life Fitness Weld Test.

3. MIG / Pulse welding experience in a manufacturing / production environment preferred.

4. Vocational training and / or welding certificate preferred.

5. Communicate in English (read, write, and understand).

6. Read prints / work instructions.

7. Read and complete process sheets.

8. Have tools necessary for the job.

9. Lift up to 30 lbs. up to 60% of shift and 50 lbs. up to 30% of shift; push / pull up to 30 lbs.

10. Walk, stand, bend, twist / turn, reach overhead and grasp tools as necessary.

11. Operate hoist and pallet jack.

12. Steel or composite toe boots required.

Duties and Responsibilities :

1. Prior to each job, accurately count all pieces to ensure no extra / missing parts.

2. Set-up jobs; load and unload jigs.

3. Operate welding equipment according to job guidelines and verify work to print(s).

4. Perform all aspects of job in a safe and quality conscious manner.

5. Verify work of other welders in work cell to prints.

6. Report supply needs, equipment breakdowns, shortages and poor quality materials / products to supervisor or lead.

7. Complete required paperwork in a correct and timely manner.

8. Operate hoist and manual pallet jack.
