Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing care in accordance with the standards and scope of practice defined by the State Board of Nursing. The RN is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks per established standards and regulations.

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to promote optimal health outcomes.

Conduct ongoing health assessments and evaluate patient progress.

Provide health education, counseling, and therapeutic support to patients and families.

Deliver supportive and restorative treatments directly or through delegation, supervision, or instruction.

Execute delegated medical functions and refer patients for additional evaluation or treatment when appropriate.

Review, monitor, and document treatment plans in accordance with hospital and regulatory requirements.

Utilize available resources effectively to ensure high-quality care.

Uphold the mission, vision, and values of SCL Health, demonstrating commitment to service excellence.

Float to other departments within scope and competency as needed.

May be required to take on-call duties during regularly scheduled shifts.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
