As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence and commitment to exceptional customer service will support a welcoming atmosphere for all employees and visitors. Position Type : Part Time. Pay Rate : $16.53 / Hour.

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor for unusual activity or conditions within the food and beverage production environment, reporting any concerns according to site protocols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and / or vendors as needed while on patrol.
  • Assist with access control procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
  • Document observations and incidents in detailed reports as required by Allied Universal and site management.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Experience in customer service is preferred.
  • Applicants should be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
  • A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
