RN - New Grad Nurse Resident

Job Description :

The Nurse Residency Program offers a structured and supportive environment for new nurses to develop their skills and transition smoothly into their professional careers. The program coincides with the unit you are hired into.

Education Qualifications :

Overview :

Target audience :  Newly licensed nurses or soon to be RNs with less than 1 year of experience.

Goal :  To support new graduate nurses in their transition from novice nurse to competent nurse through professional development

Length :  1 year program

Shifts : 0.7-0.8 FTE working Day / Night (some 12-hour shifts or D / E availability)

Eligibility :

Current nursing student OR

Recent graduate of an accredited nursing program OR

Starting first RN position with Essentia Health within one year of graduation.

Required Qualifications :

Nursing license in state of employment.

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month

Licensure / Certification Qualifications :

Highlights :

RN Hiring Incentive Eligible Position :  Qualified candidates may be eligible for a hiring incentive of up to $7,500 for ADNs and $10,000 for BSNs

NCLEX Prep Course available starting at upon hire

1 : 1 Coaching Guidance through first year starting upon hire
