Job Summary :

The Logistics Coordinator position is accountable for the management of all materials within the shop, as well as shipping and receiving product. This position tracks and receives incoming shipments from vendors as well as incoming customer returns. The Logistics Coordinator position is also accountable for preparing, packaging, and processing all shipments to all customers. In addition, they load and unload incoming and outgoing vehicles as required and distribute appropriate materials to the shop floor based on the job requirements.

Essential Duties :

  • Print or pull from inventory all required customer instruction sheets
  • Ensure that inventory is being used based on manufacturing date following FIFO
  • Maintains the IPC code structure on all part labels used in packaging and distribution
  • Issues all materials, except for raw materials, to all jobs and moves those materials to the proper area for manufacturing
  • Review and process all approved orders within the Company's ERP
  • Check and verify that all ship points are valid based on the supplied information on each order
  • Maintain their area in regard to organization and cleanliness
  • Follow all safety procedures and policies without exception
  • Works with the V.P. of Production to improve and maintain safety systems and procedures
  • Troubleshoot and assist in the repair of equipment as requested
  • Maintain the highest level of quality in all parts that are handled
  • Works with the Quality Auditors, Quality Manager, and others to ensure quality parts are always produced
  • Meet all Key Performance Indicators
  • Minimum Qualifications :

  • 2 years of shipping and / or receiving experience
  • Monday-Friday
