Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a rotating Emergency Department position requiring Level II trauma experience and advanced certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Work in an adult Emergency Department within a hospital setting
  • Rotating shifts between days and nights (7A / 7P)
  • Every third weekend required
  • Holiday coverage as needed per unit
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Provide care to adult patients with a variety of urgent and emergent medical conditions
  • Locals are accepted at the same rate, except where radius rules apply
  • Holiday shifts may be required as determined by the unit
  • No on-call shifts are required for this assignment

    • Requirements

  • Active MD or compact RN license required
  • Minimum of two years of Emergency Room nursing experience in Level II trauma
  • Experience in hospitals with 500+ bed count required
  • Current certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
