Licensed Vocational Nurse, IDD Services

Location : Brenham, TX

Hourly Rate : $26-28

Schedule : Monday thru Friday 8am-5pm

Your Role :

Complete monthly assessments, including documentation of weights, vital signs, and full body assessments.

Conduct monthly house checks to :

Verify medication storage and check for expirations.

Ensure adaptive aids are present and in proper working condition.

Review Medication Administration Records (MARs) to confirm accurate medication documentation by staff.

Attend quarterly psychiatric and podiatry clinics at the day habilitation program.

Provide medication administration training for new hires.

Administer weekly injections as directed by the RN.

Qualifications :

Associate's Degree in Nursing or related field, or state certificate

One year of experience working with population served in a nursing capacity

Current state LPN or LVN licensure for state of residence

Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance

Other certifications as required by state licensing regulations such as CPR / FA and HIV / AIDS certification, BBP, and ACT training

Ability to effectively communicate with staff, individuals served, and families
