Part-Time Instructors

Fall 2025-Spring 2026

Position Location : Positions are located in Fort Morgan, CO; Burlington, CO; Limon, CO; Wray, CO and the MCC Global Classroom.

Employment Specifics : Instructors, Part-Time, hourly as needed.

Note : Part-time instructors must live within the State of Colorado or physically work for MCC at one of our locations to be eligible for hire.

Start Date : Fall 2025 or Spring 2026

Salary : Salary based on education and experience. This position is not eligible for a benefits package. Employees must be designated at .75 FTE or greater to be eligible for the Colorado Community College System benefit package. Sick leave shall be accrued and granted in accordance with the Healthy Families and Workplaces Act. No relocation assistance is provided.

Instructor Lecture / Lab - $37.45 - $52.40 per hour Health Clinical - Supervised $47.35 - $50.35 per hour Health Clinical - Unsupervised $41.50 - $44.50 per hour Skill Lab Assistant $29.65 - $32.65 per hour

Art Instructor (Online) - Master's degree in fine arts or a related field with at least 18 graduate credits in fine arts from a regionally accredited institution required. Minimum of two years of post-secondary teaching in art or related field. Experience teaching online, asynchronous classes. Ability to teach range of art history classes, in addition to introductory art appreciation. A commitment to experiential learning and demonstrated success working with students from diverse backgrounds. Teaching Times : Asynchronous

Auto Technician Instructor (Fort Morgan, Limon, Bennett, or Burlington) - Associate degree in automobile repair technician or two (2) years of full-time equivalent experience may substitute for degree. Must have or be able to obtain a Colorado Career and Technical Education Credential (at least 4,000 hours of verifiable paid occupational experience in the last five years). ASE Training / Certificate. Teaching experience preferred. A commitment to experiential learning and demonstrated success in working with students from diverse backgrounds. Business Instructor (Fort Morgan) - Master's degree in Business or related field from a regionally accredited institution, Computer expertise in relevant business software programs, must have or be able to obtain a Colorado Career and Technical Education postsecondary teaching credential in Business. Must have 2000 hours of verifiable work experience in the business field. Minimum of one (1) year of full-time or two (2) years of part-time teaching experience in business or a related field. Experience with innovation including online delivery, and an understanding of the current business environment as it relates to curriculum development. Teaching Times : Daytime and / or Evening

Computer and Networking Technology and Computer Science Instructor (Fort Morgan) - Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or Computer Information Technology or a masters degree in a related field with 18 graduate credits in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or Computer Information Technology. Must have or be able to obtain a Colorado Career and Technical Education (CTE) Credential (at least 2,000 hours of verifiable paid occupational experience in the last five years). Teaching and distance learning instruction experience preferred. A commitment to experiential learning and demonstrated success in working with students from diverse backgrounds. Geography Instructor (Global) - Master's degree in Geography or a master's degree in a closely related field and 18 graduate credits in Geography. Minimum of two (2) years of post-secondary teaching in Geography or a related field preferred. Experience in distance education preferred. A commitment to experiential learning and demonstrated success in working with students from diverse backgrounds. Teaching Times : Daytime and / or Evening

History Instructor (Global) - Master's degree in History or a master's degree in a closely related field and 18 graduate credits in history. Minimum of two (2) years of post-secondary teaching in history or a related field preferred. Experience in distance education preferred. A commitment to experiential learning and demonstrated success in working with students from diverse backgrounds. Teaching Times : Daytime and / or Evening

Humanities Instructor (Global) - Master's Degree (or at least 18 graduate credits) in humanities, philosophy, religious studies or, depending on specific coursework, history, English, or fine arts from a regionally accredited institution required. Minimum of two (2) years of post-secondary teaching in humanities or a related field preferred. Experience in distance education preferred. A commitment to experiential learning and demonstrated success in working with students from diverse backgrounds. Teaching Times : Daytime and / or Evening

Industrial Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance Instructor (Fort Morgan, Limon, Bennett, or Burlington) - Associate's degree in electrical or two (2) years of full-time equivalent experience may substitute for degree. Must have or be able to obtain a Colorado Career and Technical Education Credential (at least 4,000 hours of verifiable paid occupational experience in the last five years). Preferred : Teaching experience. A commitment to experiential learning and demonstrated success in working with students from diverse backgrounds. Teaching Times : Daytime and / or Evening

Nurse Aide Instructor (Fort Morgan, Limon and Bennett) - Requires an active, unencumbered Colorado R.N. or LPN License, with at least two years of nursing experience caring for the elderly and / or chronically ill of any age. Have documented experience in teaching adults or have completed a course in teaching adults or have 1 year managing nurse aides. Be able to be approved as a nurse aide instructor by the Colorado State Board of Nursing. Must have or be able to obtain a current Colorado Career and Technical Education Credential (at least 4,000 hours of verifiable paid occupational experience in the last five years). A commitment to experiential learning and demonstrated success in working with students from diverse backgrounds. Teaching Times : Daytime and / or Evening

Philosophy Instructor (Global) - Master's Degree in philosophy or a related field with at least 18 graduate credits in philosophy from a regionally accredited institution required. Minimum of two (2) years of post-secondary teaching in philosophy or a related field preferred. Experience in distance education preferred. A commitment to experiential learning and demonstrated success in working with students from diverse backgrounds. Teaching Times : Daytime and / or Evening

Political Science Instructor (Global) - Master's degree in political science or a related field with at least 18 graduate credits in political science from a regionally accredited institution required. Minimum of two (2) years of post-secondary teaching in political science or related field preferred. Experience in distance education preferred. A commitment to experiential learning and demonstrated success working with students from diverse backgrounds. Teaching Times : Daytime and / or Evening

Real Estate Instructor (Fort Morgan & Global) - Must hold a current Real Estate License in Colorado and be able to obtain a Colorado Career and Technical Education Credential (at least 4,000 hours of related verifiable paid occupational experience in the last 7 years). Preferred : Associate degree in related field. Demonstrated success in working with students from diverse backgrounds, developing curriculum for real estate and ability to teach in classroom and work with online teaching platform (D2L) for remote learners. A commitment to experiential learning and demonstrated success working with students from diverse backgrounds. Teaching Times : Daytime, Evening and / or Weekends

RN to BSN Nursing Instructor (Global) - Master's Degree in Nursing with a three (3) years of recent experience in professional clinical nursing practice. Must hold a current unencumbered Registered Nurse License in Colorado or a compact state. Must have or be able to obtain a Colorado Career and Technical Education Credential (at least 4,000 hours of verifiable paid occupational experience in the last five years). Strong technological skills and experience with MS Office suite. Preferred : Doctorate in Nursing or a Master's in Nursing Education. Teaching experience in a professional nursing program. Demonstrated success in working with students from diverse backgrounds. Experience in teaching via distance technology. A commitment to experiential learning and demonstrated success in working with students from diverse backgrounds. Teaching Times : TBD

Sociology Instructor (Global) - Master's degree in sociology or in a related field with at least 18 graduate credits in sociology. Minimum of two (2) years of post-secondary teaching in sociology or a related field preferred. Experience in distance education preferred. A commitment to experiential learning and demonstrated success in working with students from diverse backgrounds. Teaching Times : Daytime and / or Evening

Welding (Agate-Mileage Reimbursed & Fort Morgan) - Associate's degree in Welding or two (2) years of full-time equivalent experience may substitute for degree. Must have or be able to obtain a Colorado Career and Technical Education Credential (at least 4,000 hours of verifiable paid occupational experience in the last five years). Experience in wire feed, shield, metal arc processes and TIG welding. Teaching experience preferred. Preferred : A commitment to experiential learning and demonstrated success in working with students from diverse backgrounds. Teaching Times : Daytime (Agate) Daytime and / or Evening (Fort Morgan)

About Morgan Community College (MCC) :

MCC is one of 13 colleges comprising the Colorado Community College System (CCCS). The college has consistently been named a Great College to Work For by the Chronicle of Higher Education in the past decade.

MCC is located on I-76, 80 miles northeast of Denver and approximately 100 miles east of Rocky Mountain National Park. MCC provides high quality lower division transferable courses and occupational education culminating in a variety of certificate, associate, and baccalaureate degree programs through traditional, innovative, and non-traditional delivery methods to an 11,500 square mile service area in eastern Colorado.

The College serves this vast, rural, agricultural area from its main campus in Fort Morgan and through four regional locations in Bennett, Limon, Burlington and Wray. These locations are 75 to 150 miles from the campus in Fort Morgan.
