CRNA Job Details – Virginia Healthcare Opportunity
Assignment Type : Locum tenens
Location : Midlothian, VA – Richmond metropolitan area (Virginia CRNA jobs)
Start Date : November 3, 2025
End Date : December 31, 2026
Duration : Approximately 60 weeks (ongoing assignment)
Shift : Mix of 10-hour and 12-hour day shifts
Hours per Week : 32
Healthcare Setting : Community hospital with 11 operating rooms, 2 endoscopy suites, and a 16-bed labor & delivery department
Case Types : General anesthesia, orthopedics, obstetrics, endoscopy, EP / Cath lab, MRI, vascular, ENT, plastics, urology, Da Vinci Robot cases
Charting System : Epic EMR
Team Structure : 9 anesthesiologists and 17 CRNAs; 4 : 1 CRNA to MD ratio
CRNA Qualifications
Active registered professional nurse license in Virginia or willingness to obtain (Virginia nursing license)
Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a CRNA
CRNA Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments and obtain patient consent
Educate patients on anesthesia options and associated risks
Induce, maintain, and emerge patients from general anesthesia
Monitor and document patients' physiological status throughout surgical procedures
Perform clinical interventions as required for patient safety
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary anesthesia and healthcare team
