Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with ARRT(MR) or ARMIT certification and strong IV skills for day / evening shifts.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is based in a hospital MRI department with inpatient, outpatient, and ED populations
  • 1 : 1 patient ratio in a 200-bed facility
  • Procedures use a Philips Ingenia MRI system
  • EMR systems in use include Epic, Impax, Synergy, and VRad
  • Shifts are 08 : 30 to 19 : 00 with rotating weekend coverage
  • No current call requirement
  • May be required to float to Sanford MRI within a 25-mile radius as needed
  • Role involves both routine and advanced MRI procedures for diverse patient groups
  • Supports a collaborative team environment; flexibility and teamwork skills are valued
  • Scrub color is flexible; any color is acceptable
  • Exposure to all patient types across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings
  • First-time travelers will be considered
  • Candidates residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility (Maine or New Hampshire) are considered local and subject to pay adjustments
  • Returning employees are eligible if they have not worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months
  • No travel pairs or groups accepted for this assignment

  • Minimum of 3 years MRI experience required
  • Current ARRT(MR) or ARMIT certification
  • BLS certification required
  • Demonstrated IV start skills
  • Proficiency in musculoskeletal, neuro, body, and angiographic MRI studies
  • License required if applicable
