- Strong attendance, punctuality and communication skills.
- Organizational and time management skills including the ability to complete clear, accurate paperwork via a computer / tablet / cell phone.
- Personable attitude and professionalism with customers and coworkers with the willingness to assist the company as needed to maintain efficiency.
- Follow OSHA safety guidelines and safety procedures.
- Commercial and industrial equipment maintenance and repair experience. General Responsibilities
- Adhere to all company policies (uniform, safety gear, tools, vehicle use).
- Work starts at 7 : 00am. All materials and / or tools are to be loaded the day prior.
- Follow all safety rules and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Perform service calls, diagnostics, repairs, and installations with accuracy and professionalism.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding issues found, repairs performed, and any additional recommendations. You must check in and out with customers.
- Report completed and pending tasks to the Service Coordinator.
- Complete all required documentation daily and digitally : o Service tickets / Work orders o Timesheets with accurate labor hours o Material usage o Equipment data (Model No., Serial No., Filter / Belt Quantity and Sizes) o Preventative maintenance checklist o Manufacturer startup sheets and Climatemp startup sheets
- Protect company property and tools; return all materials and unused stock to proper storage areas.
- Assist in maintaining service vehicle stock inventory, cleanliness and report vehicle repairs if needed.
- Cooperate with other trades, contractors, and company departments to ensure project efficiency.
- Maintenance contract obligations and existing customer emergencies are our first priority. Additional Responsibilities
- Overtime may be required as needed to complete emergency service or meet project deadlines.
- Support training and mentoring junior technicians and / or apprentices.
- Participate in periodic technical training and monthly safety training. OSHA 30 certification will be required within 6 months of hire.
- Participate in ongoing training to keep up with new equipment and technology (VRF, controls, refrigerants, etc.).
- Identify upsell opportunities (preventive maintenance agreements, equipment upgrades).
