Responsibilities :
- Technical Skills / Knowledge
- Maintains instrumentation and work area.
- Maintains quality control and calibration functions.
- Professional Development
- Provides training and assesses competencies.
- Consistently completes testing within established time frames.
- Recognize and address issues within the department.
Qualifications : Education
Associate's degree with MLT (ASCP / AMT), HT (ASCP / AMT) or the equivalent in education and clinical lab experience; OR a Bachelor's degree from a four (4) year MT or HTL program approved a National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences or equivalent or eligible.Must meet the minimum requirements of the Clinical Laboratory Act of 1988Experience
Four (4) years of laboratory experience as an MLT / HT (internal CLS2); OR Two (2) years of laboratory experience as a MT / HTL (internal CLS3)(Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience)
Licensure / Certification / Registration / Professional Designation ETC
Registered or eligible for registry as MLT or HT, or MT (ASCP / AMT) or HTL (ASCP / AMT) or equivalent.Compensation / Benefits
