We have a career opportunity for a Instrument & Control Tech Steam Metering to join our team!
The successful candidate will install and maintain all steam billing metering, instruments, controls and associated equipment, including but not limited to condensate meters, shunt flow turbine meters, orifice plate meters and other types of primary element metering. You will also perform the installation and maintenance of signal loop circuits for indication and monitoring, pressure reducing stations, sample analyzers, steam valves, traps and associated piping. Assist customers with any problems related to steam usage in their facilities.

Salary Minimum
$67,000 (Grade 8)

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Maintain, test, install, modify, and calibrate steam meters, pressure reducing stations, sample analyzers, signal loops, and data recorders. Install new meter layouts.Interact with the Billing Department on billing investigations and customer inquiriesEnsure and maintain a safe work environment (including meters at customer sites)Ensure proper documentation for metering department, i.e., drawings, sketches, etc.Other duties as assignedRequired Qualifications
2-year degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, ISA CCST Certification or equivalent experience in the electrical fieldA valid Indiana driver's licenseFamiliar with steam properties and test equipment necessary to measure steam flow, pressure and temperature, which include but are not limited toDigital volt meters
Frequency countersResistance temperature devicesCurrent and voltage sourcesDifferential pressure testers and pressure testersAble to work in hot and damp environmentsAble to work in confined spacesWork on live steam lines, up to 600 psigMust have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Must have a safe driving record including no history of serious traffic violations, accidents, suspensions / revocations, or DUI / DWI convictions within the last three years.Preferred Skills / Qualifications
