Dental Clinic Supervisor

The Dental Clinic Supervisor for the U of L Dental Practice-Kosair for Kids Center is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the entire clinic, primarily the staff and patient schedule. The supervisor will facilitate the office work flow and clinic schedule to maximize patient care and clinic productivity and ensure policies and procedures as outlined by the Clinic Director are implemented. This position is located at 982 Eastern Parkway, Louisville, KY 40217.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Ensure policies and procedures as outlined by the Clinic Director and Providers are implemented at the Practice.
• Actively participate in staff meetings and continuous quality improvement programs.
• In conjunction with the Clinical Director, supervise classified clinic staff, monitoring work schedules, professional trainings and job evaluations.
• Ensure staff operates day-to-day within ULSD guidelines and policies.
• Ensure the Clinic is ready for day-to-day operations and patient care.
• Supervise front desk personnel and dental assistants to ensure coverage in all areas of oral healthcare.
• Maintain and order office supplies. Manage and balance ProCard per ULSD policies.
• Coordinate treatment plans, financial arrangements; manage all private referrals and follow up with private referral.
• Manage and counsel patients with concerns, complaints, and financial matters.
• Responsible for the day to day operations of the entire clinic, primarily the staff and patient schedule.
• Facilitate the office work flow and clinic schedule to maximize patient care and clinic productivity.

Preferred Qualifications :

Target Compensation Maximum : $32.17

Target Compensation Minimum : $21.45

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
