Job Description & Requirements Specialty : CCU - Coronary Care Discipline : RN Start Date : 12 / 08 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 10 hours, days Employment Type : Travel PICC RN Travel Position Location New York Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Full-time position (40 hours) available, Day / Evening shifts, weekends per unit policy, with 8-10 hour shifts. Job Description The PICC RN will be responsible for inserting and managing the care and maintenance of PICC lines, midlines, and peripheral IVs. Candidates must have independently placed at least 50 PICC lines and have experience with the Sherlock system. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are necessary. PICC certification is preferred but not mandatory. American Heart BLS certification for providers is required. Responsibilities Insert and care for PICC lines, midlines, and peripheral IVs. Maintain compliance with health and safety protocols. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding PICC line care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current RN License in New York. BLS certification (American Heart Association only). ACLS certification (American Heart Association only). Minimum of 2 years nursing experience.
