APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with Turning Point in Mount Clemens, MI looking to add a Facility Maintenance Coordinator to their already amazing team. Their primary responsibility will be to assist in maintaining the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of all agency buildings, grounds, and equipment. Keep reading for more details!

Assist in ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of all buildings and grounds through regular inspections and minor maintenance.Conduct facility walkthroughs with the Facilities Coordinator or Director of Facility Maintenance to identify maintenance needs.Help schedule and track required safety inspections for boilers, elevators, fire alarms, extinguishers, CO alarms, and sprinkler systems.Perform general interior repairs, including painting, carpentry, basic electrical, and plumbing work at all agency locations.Monitor the work and productivity of repair crews and community service volunteers performing maintenance tasks.Enter and track maintenance requests and equipment updates in the FMX system.Report repair needs to the Director of Facility Maintenance and assist in developing an action plan.Help maintain agency vehicles and ensure they remain in safe, working condition.Attend staff and committee meetings as required.What we are looking fo r :
High School Diploma or equivalent.4+ years of experience in building maintenance or a related field.Skilled in basic building and equipment maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry work.Must have reliable transportation, valid auto insurance, a Michigan Driver’s License, and a good driving record.Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.Experience in facility maintenance, operations, and project coordination.At Apex, we actively encourage applications from underrepresented groups.
