You'll typically cover outpatient clinic hours (Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 am - 4 : 30 pm) with on-call availability required during assigned weeks (evenings and weekends).

Dedicate your skills to providing specialized emergency care for children, with a focus on outpatients while also participating in inpatient rounds and consultations when needed.

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing for pediatric patients presenting to the emergency department.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for a variety of acute medical conditions in children.
• Perform essential stabilization procedures as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently within the Epic electronic medical records system.
• Participate in inpatient rounds and consultations during on-call weeks.
• Be available for outpatient clinic visits during on-call weeks (minimum of 5 patients per day).

Qualifications for Success :

Current board certification in pediatric emergency medicine is mandatory.
