Temporary Part-time opening available in our Patient Registration & Accounts department. The Patient Financial Counselor position will involve a high volume of phone and in-person customer service. Patient Financial Counselor duties include consulting with patients regarding private pay billing, payment plans, and financial assistance. The Patient Financial Counselor will also perform other billing office tasks such as daily deposits, application processing, report management and completion of work queues. Hours are flexible working 24 hours from Monday – Friday between 8a-4 : 30pm, no weekends or holidays required. A minimum of 2 years relevant experience in healthcare billing / collection strongly preferred. Must have proficient computer skills with excellent problem-solving skills and ability to multitask and communicate effectively with patients. Ability to manage difficult situations while providing helpful customer service is a must.
