• Responsibilities : \n
• Pre-anesthesia assessment\n
• Obtains and / or verifies patient consent\n
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient\n
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia\n
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition\n
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed\n
• Requirements : \n
• Current license as a registered professional nurse\n
• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education\n
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists\n\nThe Independence Difference : \n
