We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to contribute to the high standards of our surgical services.

Job Details Shift : Sundays 3pm-11pm, Tuesdays – Fridays & Saturdays 12pm-8pm Start Date : 11 / 4 Experience Required : Minimum of 2 years First timers accepted : No Certification Requirements Required : IAHCSMM / HSPA.

Sterile reprocessing certification Preferred : Endoscope reprocessing certification Additional Information On Call : None Weekend Requirement : Saturdays 12pm-8pm Skills and Expertise Acute Hospital OR experience Knowledge of chemical agents for decontamination Experience with cleaning equipment such as crash carts, IV pumps, PCA pumps Proficient in using disinfectants and performing High-Level Disinfection (HLD) Manual cleaning and proper labeling techniques Skilled in using ultrasonic cleaners and washers / sterilizers Understanding of aseptic techniques and organizing trays Experience with sterilization wrapping procedures and proper selection of wrapping materials Proficient in scope / probe reprocessing and sets / trays assembly Experience with bronchoscopes, colonoscopes, EGD scopes, ERCP scopes Equipment documentation and familiarity with Sterile Processing Microsystem (SPM) Knowledge in various specialties including Bariatric, Cardiac, Endoscopy, General, Laparoscopic, OB / GYN, Orthopedics, Plastics, Podiatry, Robotics, Urology Experience with biological and chemical indicators Proficient in steam sterilization testing / monitoring and Sterrad testing / monitoring If you meet the above qualifications and are eager to work in a supportive and innovative environment, we encourage you to apply and make a difference in the healthcare community of Olney, MD.
