Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to staff, patients, and visitors. Pay Rate : $18.60 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Tue 06 : 30 AM - 05 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment within the healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
  • Collaborate with facility staff and emergency personnel as needed to address security-related issues and maintain a cooperative atmosphere.
  • Assist with access control procedures by monitoring entrances, verifying identification, and / or providing guidance to visitors and staff.
  • Remain alert to surroundings and communicate any security-related observations or concerns to the appropriate personnel.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Handcuffs, pepper spray, and / or baton certification is preferred.
  • CPR and / or first aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
