Medical Assistant / Receptionist
Centers Urgent Care is seeking a motivated and versatile Medical Assistant / Receptionist to join our growing team. This hybrid role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about both patient care and front office operations. Clinical Duties:
Assist providers with patient care across all ages in a courteous and efficient manner
Support occupational medicine and worker’s compensation services
Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient charts
Work collaboratively with providers, x-ray techs, and fellow medical staff
Operate within a fully equipped, modern clinical facility with on-site labs, digital x-rays, and EMR
Administrative & Front Desk Duties:
Greet patients and visitors warmly upon arrival
Answer phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately
Schedule appointments and manage calendars
Assist with check-in/check-out, patient forms, and insurance information
Handle incoming/outgoing mail and deliveries
Support day-to-day clerical tasks (filing, photocopying, scanning, supply management)
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA)
Minimum of 2 years of relevant medical assisting experience
Prior front desk or administrative office experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Tech-savvy with solid computer and EMR proficiency
Positive, team-oriented attitude and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
