As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Financial in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an armed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors. Your visible presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate : $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Mon 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Tue 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Wed 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Sat 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Sun 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.

Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the financial institution location, maintaining awareness of any unusual activity.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents, and / or activities as required by site protocols.

Interact with employees, visitors, and / or customers in a courteous and professional manner, addressing inquiries and providing assistance as needed.

Carry and maintain proficiency with assigned firearms and / or other security-related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and client site requirements.

Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay current with security-related procedures and best practices.

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Possess an armed guard card or license.

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Have customer service experience.

Have access control or badge experience.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
