Welder / Fitter

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Welder Fitter to join our team in the fabrication of precision-engineered pressure vessels. This role is critical to ensuring the structural integrity and safety of vessels used in high-pressure environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in layout, fit-up, and tack welding, with a deep understanding of ASME code requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, fit, and tack weld pressure vessel components.
• Utilize Flux Core welding.
• Perform occasional finish welding.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and required welding techniques.
• Ensure all work meets ASME code standards
• Operate welding equipment and tools safely and effectively.
• Perform fit-up without fixtures and weld in flat, horizontal, and occasional vertical positions.
