The client is one of the largest retailers in the United States they sell home improvement products (everything from shovels to lights to A / C units). The company has been in business for over 50 years and has more than 200,000 employees with over $50 billion in annual revenue.

Position : DB2 Database Administrator

Location : Mooresville, NC (near Charlotte, NC)

Duration : 3+ Months

Responsibilities :

• Tuning SQL queries and stored procedures within the databases
• Perform scalability studies and provide recommendations
• Collaboration with Mainframe team to support the overall performance of the back-end systems
