Minimum Salary : $30.00 per hour.

Maximum Salary : $34.50 per hour.

Summary

The System Maintenance Mechanic Specialist is responsible for repairing and maintaining all equipment within the warehouse system, including parts purchasing. In this role, the Specialist must identify, troubleshoot, repair and provide solutions for problems that occur in Automation equipment and processes. Fills in for Operations Supervisor.

Schedule :

3rd Shift, 9 : 00 PM - 5 : 30 AM

Responsibilities

• Schedule & conduct preventive maintenance, be alert for issues or conditions that may cause system difficulties.
• Generate, complete work order, rebuild and fabricate parts if needed.
• Utilize menu driven software, troubleshoot system issues.
• Interface with the Vertique support team as required.
• Regularly record & communicate system events that affect production.
• Monitor the palletizers to ensure a continuous operation.
• Monitor the case conveyor going into the palletizers to incorrect or product out of specs before it enters the palletizer.
• Lead others and inform pickers and fork truck drivers when critical items need to be addressed.
• Respond to sequence check alarms, or any other system stoppage, and ensure that sequencing is accurately maintained as product flows through the conveyor system.
• Protect the integrity and quality of product at all times while adhering to company policies & procedures.
