Manager, Supply Planning
You will lead a team managing the end-to-end supply plan ensuring demand and supply for critical system builds are cohesive with the Integrated Master Schedule and SPARC Assembly Plans. You will be the planning subject matter expert within a collaborative culture and exhibit transparent communication and innovative solutions for mitigating schedule risk. Your scope will be vertically aligned to the tokamak build, driving material readiness for magnet manufacturing and tokamak integration.
What You'll Do :
- Ensure the right parts are available at the right time for the operation, regardless of system maturity
- Train and mentor team members and counterparts on standard planning practices
- Create tools and innovate planning processes to help the supply chain operate more efficiently
- Lead the team interfacing between Supply Chain, Engineering, and Manufacturing to align schedules and material resources for top level assembly and integration activities
- Maintain a supply plan to drive material need dates to the lowest levels of complex bills of materials.
- Translate engineering bills of materials into actionable planning signals for the Supply Chain and Production teams
- Monitor and report supply risk mitigation strategies to internal customers on a continuous basis
- Identify and clearly communicate schedule blockers and their impacts
- Manage full product lifecycle demand and supply planning signals
- Negotiate internally & externally to ensure resources are appropriately allocated
- Be the link between Inventory and Finance / Accounting to monitor and prevent overages or underages in excess of the plan of record
- Manage MRP and product / project schedule alignment
- Maintain product master data in the system of record
- Work with data systems teams on continuous MRP optimization
- Monitor health of MRP's integration with the Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
What We're Looking For :
Bachelor's degree in the field of Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or Finance8+ Yrs in Manufacturing, Planning, or Supply Chain or 5 Yrs w / school equivalencyExperience translating Engineering designs into demand and supply plansExperience with resource allocationCreating and maintaining master schedulesExperience developing ERP / MRP systemsStrong understanding of ERP and MRP systemsStrong computer skills with MS office or G-Suite applicationsGeneral understanding of quality system functionalityHave strong relationship building skills, and the ability to interact and work effectively with many levels of personnel and suppliersBonus Points For :
