The Role :

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Corporate Accounting Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our corporate accounting function. This role will ensure compliance with accounting standards, manage monthly / quarterly / annual close processes, and support financial reporting and audits. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of GAAP and internal controls.

Responsibilities :

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes ensuring timely and accurate reporting
• Oversee general ledger functions and ensure accuracy of journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals
• Review and approve account reconciliations and supporting documentation
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and corporate accounting policies
• Manage a team of accountants; provide mentorship, performance feedback, and training
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for annual audits and other financial reviews
• Develop and implement efficient accounting processes and internal controls
• Assist in preparing consolidated financial statements and management reports
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities
• Partner with other departments (e.g., FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Legal) to support business initiatives

Education

Bachelors of Accounting (preferred)

Experience

5 - 8 years : Progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role (preferred)

Licenses & Certifications

Cert. Public Accountant (preferred)

RI Lottery License Ops (required)
