As one of our Maintenance Supervisors, your day is about juggling responsibilities with a cheerful, performance-driven, resident-focused, hardworking, mentor mindset. You have a passion for quality, service excellence, and team coaching. Your role includes leading the maintenance team and supporting the Property Manager in upholding community and corporate standards.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the performance of the service team, while being a positive role model
  • Provide complete support to the Property Manager in upholding community and corporate standards, policies, and procedures
  • Ensure that all safety measures are enforced
  • Provide coaching, mentoring and personal goals to your staff
  • Schedule daily activities efficiently, monitoring for quality and quantity
  • Be familiar with property budgets and long-range planning recommendations
  • Maintain shop, company equipment, ample supplies, inventory control, and ensure key security
  • Be an inspector; ensure tour routes and models look their best
  • Provide excellent customer service to prospective and existing residents and teammates

Qualifications

  • You have at least 2 years prior experience in effectively managing the maintenance needs of a community
  • You've successfully led a team for at least 1 year
  • You've proven your ability to adapt to new technologies
  • You have the ability to adapt to new technologies
  • You are proficient in writing, speaking and understanding the English language
  • You are able to use computers and related applications
  • Have a sense of humor – seriously be funny
  • Education
