This opportunity is with a government contractor helping our nation's Veterans by providing compensation and pension exams and separation health assessments. The organization is committed to supporting Veterans through comprehensive medical evaluations in various locations throughout New Hampshire.

General Medicine Provider - Veterans Evaluation Services

Job Details :

• Perform compensation pension exams and separation health assessments for Veterans
• Multiple location options : Provider's own office (within 50-mile radius), Lincoln, NH (1 day / week), or Lebanon, NH (1 day / week)
• PRN basis, ongoing need with flexible scheduling
• Option to work half days (4-hours) and / or full days (8-hours)
• One-time non-treatment CP exams and separation health assessments
• Primarily interview-based exams with some physical assessment (range of motion testing, muscle strength testing)
• No prescribing or treatment responsibilities
• Quick credentialing and onboarding process
• Acceptable specialties include : family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or experience with general medicine / compensation and pension
• Must be proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions
• Must own a laptop (no Mac / Apple products)
• Requires active and unrestricted full license in New Hampshire
• Must complete DMA training to become DMA certified
• Must not be active military duty, in reserves, or actively employed at the VA
• Follow-up administrative work required (addendums, medical opinions, reading diagnostics)
• Local candidates only, travel included in rates

Compensation :

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
