We are hiring an RN for our Pulmonary Clinic at the Plaza location
- Flexible, HYBRID position! Nurses are allowed to work 4 rotating 10 hour shifts each week with one of these working from home!
- Our Practice serves patients with Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep diagnoses, including advanced Interventional Pulmonary procedures.
- All RN Candidates for SLPG must have both a MO and a KS (or multi-state) RN license to be considered!
- In the clinic setting, RNs provide professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices.
- They are responsible for telephone triage, patient flow, and coordination of patient care including scheduling emergent need patient appointments, identification of learning needs for patients and families, injections / medication administration, phlebotomy, assisting physician with clinic procedures, support for our Zephyr Valve Program, as well as other duties based on clinic need.
- The RN assigns tasks to clinical staff in accordance with demonstrated competencies and consideration to Scope of Practice and serves as a subject matter expert for patient education, care and testing.
- The RN will be able to work in a team atmosphere as well as autonomously while demonstrating excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor at all times.
- May be responsible for covering Medical Assistant job duties, LPN job duties, or other office duties as needed.
