Business Finance Officer IV
The purpose of the position is to provide overall fiscal management of the HIV / STI / HCV Program budget. The annual budget is about $28M and comprises over 29 funding sources. The Business Finance Officer (BFO) IV monitors the overall budget which requires detailed monitoring of the complex "Ending the HIV Epidemic" federal grant funding, a $4M contract with Harborview Medical Center with over a dozen separate funding sources, and Sexual Health Clinic projects that are funded by King County and University of Washington. Specific tasks are listed below. The BFO IV is also responsible for overseeing and providing training on fiscal assignments for administrative support staff and provides ongoing training and mentorship to fiscal staff. The position also assures compliance with internal controls and fiscal policies and contributes to the development of department-wide processes and trainings related to grant management and audit readiness.

Work Schedule : Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm, 40 hours per week. This position is exempt from the overtime provision of the Fair Labor Standard Act (FLSA) and is not overtime eligible.
Work Location : Chinook Building, located at 401 5th Ave, Seattle, WA 98104. Remote and Onsite Work : This team works in a hybrid model, with days in the office as well as telecommuting. The ratio of remote to onsite work will be dependent on business needs and is subject to change. The primary onsite location is the Chinook Building, located at 401 5th Ave, Seattle, WA 98104. Employees must reside in Washington state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements.
