As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents, while your strong communication and customer service skills will contribute to positive interactions with employees and visitors. Position Type : Part Time Pay Rate : $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule : Day Time Fri 10 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM Sat 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM Sun 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM What You'll Do Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Observe and report any suspicious activities or potential hazards encountered during patrols within the manufacturing and industrial environment. Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit of personnel and visitors in accordance with site policies. Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters. Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly as directed by Allied Universal policies. What We're Looking For Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Must be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
