Radiology Technologist - $5000 Sign-On Bonus Available!

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting a Radiology Technologist to work at our main hospital in Bolivar, MO. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 long-term care facilities, and 1 residential care facility. About the department : Utilizing the newest state-of-the-art equipment and technologies, the Radiology Department provides 24 / 7 diagnostic imaging services to meet the needs of a wide variety of patients at both the hospital and Outpatient Imaging Center. Examinations are performed on both a scheduled and emergent basis and may include diagnostic radiology, mammography, vascular and echocardiography ultrasound, PET and CT, and MRI.

A typical day will include : Performing routine and specialized x-ray examinations in both the hospital and Outpatient Imaging Center.

• Prepares patients for examinations, positioning and / or immobilizing the patient in accordance with the type of procedure to be administered, and while considering the safety, physical, and psychological needs of the patient
• Performs examination, adjusting control panel settings, such as voltage, amperage, and time of exposure, as necessary
• Processes data assuring optimal imaging has been achieved prior to discharge of the patient, re-imaging as necessary
• Assists Radiologist and Medical Staff as required, preparing solutions using sterile techniques and administering barium and IV contrast solutions

This position is : Full-time evenings, 72 hours / week, M - Th, 4 : 30pm to 2 : 30am.
