Montgomery Theater is a non-profit professional theater located in Souderton, PA, one hour from Philadelphia. Montgomery Theater is a vital part of the community and a contributor to vast artistic resources of our area. We offer local productions of plays and musicals, standup comedy shows, and acting classes and camps for kids. Each year on our intimate 122 seat Main Stage we produce six professional productions. On our 75-seat Project Stage we produce two family-friendly shows, five Comedy Nights, and one New Work.

About the role

We are seeking a Marketing Associate to work with our Director of Development and Marketing. The role will coordinate with the Director to plan and execute ongoing social media strategy and email marketing campaigns. The role also includes attendance at all marketing and development events, in addition to attending community events and promoting the theater. Approximately 10 hours per week, one day in person, the remaining hours are remote.

Responsibilities

Coordinate filming of promotional material

Photograph productions

Coordinate marketing on Social Media

Draft weekly e-blasts

Attend rehearsals and performances

Support all marketing and development events

Attend Community Events and represent MT

Additional marketing related tasks assigned as needed

10 hours / week hybrid

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Experience with digital marketing

Experience with theatre production work is a plus

Experience with email marketing platforms (MailChimp, Constant Contact, etc.)

Must be a team player willing to pick up additional assignments as needed

Ability to work on a variety of projects simultaneously is essential
