The Hospital RN float pool nurse has the responsibility to provide all nursing care services for the assigned patients in the selected department where they have been assigned. He / She ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care, maintains compliance with professional nursing, DNV-GL, and all Federal and State standards of care. The Hospital float pool RN must work in a minimum of two different departments selected by the RN and commit to a minimum of 4 shifts per month. Department to choose from include Inpatient Unit, Preop / PACU, OR, Imaging RN coverage, and the Emergency Department.
